LYNN, studio owner and instructor,  opened Pilates Pavilion in April 2006.  Prior to moving to Tallahassee, she was the Pilates Director for the Athletic Club Boca Raton, where she worked for eight years. Lynn holds two Comprehensive Pilates Certifications from Power Pilates in New York and from Classical Pilates in Fort Lauderdale.  She is a Senior Level Instructor and Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates and has a  Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University.  She is a former competitive gymnast and coach.  Lynn is experienced working with a diverse clientele. 

COZY, instructor, holds a Power Pilates Comprehensive Apparatus and Mat Certifications. Cozy  is a dance instructor at Tallahassee Dance Academy, where she has taught competitive ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical dance since 1993.  Cozy developed an appreciation for Pilates through the ability to incorporate the use of core strength, flexibility and movement into dance.  She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University where she danced on the Golden Girls’ dance team for several years.  

KERRI, instructor, holds a Power Pilates Comprehensive and Mat Certifications. Kerri’s movement background includes competitive gymnastics and ballet. After earning a B.A. degree in History and English from the University of Florida, Kerri lived in Neptune beach for nine years, where she taught English at Fletcher High School. Kerri began taking Pre-Natal Pilates and Yoga during her pregnancy in 2003.  After relocating to Tallahassee, Kerri continued to practice pilates and earned her certification in 2006 . Kerri loves the benefits of core strength and flexibility that pilates has brought her. 

 KRISTEN, instructor, holds a STOTT Pilates Mat and Reformer Certification, along with a background in Pre-Natal Pilates. She also holds a Primary Group Exercise Certification from AFAA. Kristen is a former competitive dancer and instructor.  While earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Florida State University she danced on the Golden Girls dance team, and began teaching group exercise classes at various local gyms. Kristen practiced pilates through both of her pregnancies, and loves the ease of movement, strength and flexibility it provides. She appreciates the benefits that pilates offers to all fitness levels and body types.

SARAH, instructor, holds a STOTT Pilates Mat and Reformer Certification along with a Personal Trainer Certification from NSCA. While studying dance at the University of Florida, Sarah Co-owned DOXA Dance Studio where she instructed various ages ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and Pilates.  She also taught Pilates Mat classes for the Florida Dance Association on Tour Young Dancers Workshop in Gainesville, along with the American College Dance Festival Association in Gainesville. Sarah also worked two years at an Auto Injury Care Rehabilitation Facility which has given her experience with post rehab clients. She developed a passion for Pilates during her years of dancing, and appreciates the core strength and stability along with the injury prevention Pilates brings with muscle balance. Newly relocated to Tallahassee with her husband, Sarah is looking forward to being able to share her passion for Pilates with others.
